Keel Seal:
 
Keel seal is a high-performance UV resistant Flexible Waterproofing Membrane , designed to  adhere to plastics to form the best adhesion possible. Can be applied to both dry and damp surface , however damp surfaces will delay drying times.
 
Preparation:
No primers needed. Ensure surface is free from loose material and as dry as possible. Avoid any waxed surface.
Wipe down area with the acholic wipes , ensuring the surface is clean. No Sanding is necessary, unless surface is dirty. 
 
Application:
BY Trowel, Brush or roller
Apply as many coats you need. Normally 2 coats will give you the desired thickness. It’s best to apply thinner coats allowing to dry and re-apply another coat. The pant will go from a light grey to a dark grey once cured.
  For best coverage apply first coat using one direction, once dried follow up the second coat using across direction flow (90deg to each other). This method will allow to cover all the area required.
 
Drying times:
Recoat 2-4 hours (24deg)
Dry- 12-24 hours
Fully cured –up to 3 days
 
Clean up : Water clean up until cured. After Cured use Thinners
Shelf Life-12-18 months.

A.7 Repairs DragonForce 65 Restricted Class Rules 2024 Version 1.8.4 Emergency repairs to any part of the boat are permissible, provided they are not intended to enhance the original function or performance of the damaged items. Repairs to hull cracks around the base of the keelbox are permitted, provided such repairs are done inside the hull and confined to an area within 30mm from the junction of the hull skin and the finbox trunking. Any such repair shall be of tape, glue or resin which may contain reinforcing fibres or one layer of reinforcing material. Once a hull has been so repaired it may continue to be used. No additional structure, other than the surface repair detailed above, is permitted
