Policy
Shipping INFORMATION:

ALL DF CLASS Sails
Will be posted flat, not rolled. The sails will be sandwiched between 2 MDF 3mm boards with bubble wrap and other protective pieces if required.
Freight and Insurance.
All orders are sent by tracked mail service to your nominated address, as standard parcels your items are not insured, and we recommend that you should choose to insure at checkout for damage or non-delivery.
Items lost by post or tracked as delivered and unlocatable at your preferred address are limited to the value that freight services reimburse and will only be considered once they have completed their claims processes.
Large Items.
Due to the complex shapes and sizes of products, the freight charges occasionally require adjusting down or up.
We suggest either proceeding to checkout and if the freight needs adjusting, we will refund your account, or you can just email orders to sails@bergan.com.au and we will email you the order total & shipping cost and secure payment options.

International Items.
International orders outside of Australia, our shop program charges a default value for shipping which is later adjusted up or down depending on items sizes and weights you order. There are some items we don’t allow the option for international postage due to size and price to send. These itemises will be highlighted.
International freight is by regular tracked airmail and is not insured, please let us know when checking out if you require Insurance on your purchases for damage or non-delivery.
All Customs and Import duties payable are the responsibility of the purchaser. For larger items that are not easily mailed we can offer courier freight.

Refund & Exchange
REFUND & RETURN

Customers have the right to cancel goods within 7 working days without giving a reason. In the case of goods, the 7 days commence when the customer receives the goods. Items must be returned unused, unopened (with any seals and wrapping intact) and in re-saleable condition.
Delivery and collection charges are not refundable. We will return your money (less the cost of the original postage and bank charges incurred) within 28 days of cancellation.
Any items damaged or faulty must be returned within 7 days of receipt.

Sails ordered and supply with custom colours and personal numbers are none returnable as these are custom items. if any fault or damaged found we will replace item. However, postage is charged to the client.
In all cases, we will reach the best agreement between client and Bergan sails.

Warranty:
DF 65 & DF95 Hulls that are cracked need to go through Black Night RC for warranty claims within Australia. a used hull that is cracked will not be serviced under warranty. only manufacturing faults considered.
